2466: Ceremonial Textile Ma’wa. Rare combination of hand painted and hand stamped motifs on cotton textile with two asymmetrically placed leopard figures stalking through the brush. Professionally mounted on thick backing. There are some minor holes that have been professionally backed and stabilized. Additional images available. Height on backing: 7’. 19th century. Toraja culture, Sulawesi Island, Indonesia.
