43: Wood/Pigments Ritual Barrier (“Ampang Bilik”) with Snake, Domestic Animal, and Human Motifs. Toraja, Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. This is not the best one I had, but nearly so. Only about a dozen or so of these were known, most brought out by myself and another colleague in the 1980’s. Very rare Torajan status symbol, reserved for the highest castes.
