ANcestral Figure (Tau-Tau)
Toraja, Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. Private Collection, California (published, twice, in “Banua Toraja”, Tropen Museum publication, and once shown in a documentary film strip that ran at the Tropen Museum, Amsterdam). One of the best Tau-Tau I have ever had with a strong, sensitive face and body. Definitely the image of royalty.
