Flores Island*, Indonesia.
Plaited and dyed lontar palm leaves. L: 68" (173 cm), W: 24.75" (63 cm).
Rare double sided mat (motifs are only on the top side) with plaited motifs.
*The mat was originally identifed as coming from Flores Island, which is still a possibility.
However it is possible it comes from the Anambas Islands, Riau Island area in western Indonesia.
