Handspun cotton, dyes. H: 55" (140 cm), L: 89" (226 cm).
Ikat dyed and woven textile that was sewn together at the seam and worn length-wise
as a sarong or tube skirt by a village noblewoman as a symbol of status and wealth.
Excellent color and over all condition, but with a few small patches on the back side.
